Dr. Ciminello is a fully trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and is a Director of Craniofacial Surgery at the University Hospital of New Jersey.

He performed his General Surgery training in New York City at the St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, University Hospital Columbia University Medical Center. Subsequently, he attended the University of California Davis Medical Center where he completed his Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship. After Completing his Plastic Surgery training, he did an additional fellowship in Miami, Florida sub-specializing in Craniofacial Surgery and Facial Cosmetic Surgery.

He participates with numerous nonprofit organizations that provide free reconstructive surgery and treatment for children worldwide. He travels twice a year to third world countries to perform cleft lip, palate and facial reconstructive surgery on underprivileged children.
