Chin Surgery

Genioplasty

Sometimes people unhappy with the appearance of their lower jaw or chin. A genioplasty is a procedure designed to change the size and/or shape of the chin to achieve a more aesthetic appearance. This may sometimes be combined with other procedures such as a rhinoplasty or submental liposuction to achieve an optimal result. A genioplasty is performed as an outpatient procedure with a small incision inside the mouth and minimal downtime.

Chin Implant

Sometimes a chin implant is used to achieve the desired result. At our center we choose to use custom facial implants because they can achieve a better aesthetic result and shorten the procedure time. Dr. Ciminello will discuss these treatment options with you during your consultation.
