Major Bone Grafting

In cases of congenital or acquired deformities of the facial skeleton, there are often areas of the face that require augmentation to create balance and symmetry.  When this is required, bone can be borrowed from other parts of the bony and placed where it is needed to augment the facial skeleton.

Dr. Ciminello is uniquely able to perform this procedure with tissues from your own body rather than using “off the shelf” products that frequently result in infection and post-operative problems. These techniques have been passed down to Dr. Ciminello by world leaders in the field of craniofacial surgery and should only be performed by surgeons experience in this discipline.
